Maximizing your career options by combining electrical skills with gas certification is a total game-changer. In Ontario, you cannot legally service the fuel systems, burners, or components of gas-fired HVAC equipment without a TSSA license. While an electrical pre-apprenticeship program teaches you the vital fundamentals of circuitry, controls, and layout, adding a G3 gas license is the fastest way to double your job opportunities.
Taking STC’s 12-week Gas Technician 3 training gives you the TSSA credentials to back up your electrical expertise, making you the first choice for jobs across Ontario.
What’s in it for me?

After completing our program, you will have the confidence and hands-on experience needed to start working and become an asset to any company.

Contractors are looking for new hires that bring skills to the table and a genuine passion to work in the trades.
By taking our pre-apprenticeship program you are showing your potential new employer that you are 1. Serious 2. Skilled & 3. Ready to Work!

Course Overview
The Construction and Maintenance Electrician Pre-Apprentice Program at the Skilled Trades College of Canada was designed to give students the right mix of theoretical and hands-on training to make them successful apprentices.
STC focusses on what matters most – HANDS ON!! We designed our Electrical program with the contractor in mind. After all, they are the ones that are going to hire you. While it's important to learn the theory, what's going to make you shine as an apprentice is your ability to help the job move along. Our program ensures you are in the lab the majority of the time working with what matters most – YOUR HANDS!
