Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship Program

A career as an electrician involves specializing in designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems. The duties in this line of work include planning projects, installing new or upgrading old electrical systems. Through our Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship Program, students can acquire the right skills, safety training, and hands-on practice necessary to become one of the most trusted and sought-after electrical apprentices in the industry. Dedicated to producing competent apprentices, Skilled Trades College’s courses are designed to provide students with the right balance of theoretical and hands-on training. We ensure that our students are in the lab 60% of the time—because skills are best honed through practical applications.

Plumbing Pre-
Apprenticeship Program

Having the right skills and education are vital elements in pursuing a successful career in the plumbing industry—which is exactly what students will gain through our Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship Program. Become among our Toronto East Campus graduates who stand out from the rest. At Skilled Trades College’s Toronto East campus, students will learn to specialize in installing and maintaining systems used for potable (drinking) water, sewage, and drainage in plumbing systems. Intro to Home
Renovation

Now is the perfect time to undergo training and pursue a career in home renovation—and Ontario's booming construction industry and high demand for skilled trade workers are clear proof of that. Skilled Trades College’s Toronto East campus offers an Intro To Home Renovation Program that teaches students the basics of framing, drywall, taping, footings, vapour barrier, insulation, masonry (brick-laying), rough-in electrical, rough-in plumbing, and all relevant general construction work. This program offers students fundamental, practical hands-on training in a simulated on-the-job setting and all the relevant safety certifications.
